My little brother and his wife just had their first baby. Z (our Foriegn Exchange Student) and I went to go see them. She is so beautiful and so tiny! She has a lot of hair unlike her daddy…

Z has never held a baby before and she was afraid to try tonight. 🙂 We did make Z’s mom a cake tonight (we went to G-Goat’s house for dinner) for her birthday. We learned the happy birthday song in Z’s primary language, lit the candles and then sang happy birthday to her. We recorded it so Z could email it to her.
Before church my 1st and 2nd daughter wrapped their legs up in ace bandages and pretended they were broke/sprained or whatever. They then asked if they could go to church that way. Corom and I didn’t care so off we went. While I was in Sunday School class my 2nd daughter’s teacher brought her in and told me that she has been complaining about her leg hurting real bad! (The teacher thought it was a real injury. :/) Anyway, we (Corom and I) took her ace bandage off and realized she was cutting off her circulation from using her hair ties to hold the ace bandage in place. It was so tight on her leg that her leg was purple around the area.

She had another indent like that around her ankle. To be honest… It was kind of funny and all the people around us were laughing. Shortly after she wanted to go back to primary (Sunday school class). This is a picture of the girls before church goofing off… It is what they do best.

The girls hung out with g-goat for a couple of hours today while Corom and I helped our friends Mike and Amy Fullmer with painting and building something (Amy, her daughter and I went to get the paint and Corom and Mike were fixing up their basement). We then took off to get Z ready for her date/dance. 🙂 Corom and Mike had to drive them around for a few hours.

There was a big group of high school kids and the majority could not drive. Lucky for Corom and Mike! After they were done we watched a movie with the Fullmers and the Booths.

I was asked by this company, “XOJO”, to test out their new product. It is a drink that has all the “goods” in it. I tried it out on our run this morning and I really liked it! The flavor was good, I had energy throughout the run and I drank the rest after my run. I surprisingly felt really great after my run without tired legs or the lactic acid build up. It does say to drink it before, during and after. I didn’t do it during my run but I rarely drink anything during a training run! I am excited to try this out throughout my runs and races!
There were about 15 of us that met up this morning at Thanksgiving Point. The majority of us are pacing the Thankful half on Thanksgiving Day and we wanted to run the course.

I am glad we went up to run… The course had a few turns and we had to stop a few times to make sure we were on the right road. At one point we decided to turn around and come back because we were lost. We did carry the course map with us but still got lost…

Those are the running directions… A lot of turns but I liked the course a lot! It will be fun pacing the 1:35 time.

We ran about 12.4 miles in 1:39.19. It was great meeting up with everyone this morning. This is one of the main reasons I run!
