Last night Corom went and picked up a baby turkey and 4 more chicks. Our big, old dog got a hold of 3 of our original chickens last week and they ended up not making it. So now we have 6 chickens and a turkey. My girls love it. We (well Corom) built a chicken coop/cage on the side of our house where no one can see it.
On days like today sometimes it is so hard to be a mom/wife. We (as moms) never get a break (bless Corom’s heart). I had to clean my house a couple of times today, intervene between Corom and the girls on many occasions, make dinner, and help Z because she, too, has been sick today. I feel so bad for her because she doesn’t have her mom around and I tried to be there for her as much as I could. At the end of the day, everything turns out okay and the frustrations seem to die down. But at the moment… It is hard! I am tired!

Notice the nice green bowl sitting next to my bed… We became close this morning. I was supposed to go to Snow Canyon early this morning to go race the 5k but I am glad that didn’t work out. I woke up around 4 am with my stomach all messed up! I have not felt this way since I was pregnant with my 2nd child (she is 6). That was the last time I threw up, too, because of the flu. Z is in the same situation. It is now 2:17 pm and I am feeling so much better (So is Z). We were both able to eat something a few minutes ago and so far keep it down. My mother in law came and grabbed the girls and took them to a rodeo. Corom went up to her house (his mom’s) to repair a few things… It is nice and quiet!
We went to the Provosgard’s house tonight for a day after Halloween party…

Later a good number of us (Provosgards, Clarks, Adams, Z, Corom and I went to Linden to a private Haunted House. It was so amazing!!! And the haunted spook alley was sooo good!

They had a live mermaid swimming around…

Large snakes and spiders to hold…

Palm reading… (It may cause for a argument later tonight:)).

Then we went through the spook alley… It was really good and I’m not going to lie… Freaked me out quite a few times…

I have not laughed that hard in a long time. We had fun! Oh and it was free… They were asking for donations to the food bank!
