I met up with my running friends at 5:45 this morning (they – Mac, Aubrey, Amber and Holly, actually started at 5 a.m. and looped back to pick me up… 5 is so early). I ran 8.3 miles in 1:05.29. They put in 5 before me. They are an inspiration to me! It felt good… Just getting ready for tomorrow’s speed workout.
No we are not catching dinner, the girls (and Corom) are trying to catch the little fish… And my oldest just caught one…
We had the kids do their core workout and then went for a 6 mile moderate pace. Not to bad today, right?
I had some friends who wanted to take me out to lunch today for my birthday. I also babysit on Mondays for a friend of mine… Well I figured it would work out to go to a place about a 100 yards away from my house (and I had a couple of neighbor girls come over to watch the kids). Well I show up at the Mexican food place and of course who is sitting there… The Dad of the kids I watch. He was a little surprised to see me there but what can I say… Free food… 45 min out if my house, how can I say no…
The burrito I ate… So good!
