Amber D and I met up at 5:45 am and drove to Provo for a run. We went out for 44:30 min (almost 6 miles) and then met up with Amber A, Summer H, Candice, Ryan and John… It was with Runner’s Corner’s group.

We started at Memorial Park in Provo and went out on the road. After about a mile and 1/2 into the run we turned onto a trail…

It was so fun. There were just a few areas with snow but it was not too bad. I love trail running and this was a great group to run with.

I ran a total of 1:29.02. It was a little over 11 miles (I don’t know the exact mileage because I don’t have a garmin)… It felt great.
I met up with Mac and Holly and ran 8 miles with them and then continued with Amber for another 2 1/2 or a little less. It was good getting out and meeting up with these 3. They are very uplifting and supportive! We had great conversations and I laid out some goals that they were all excited and willing to help me achieve them. I love the support system of running friends! I ran for a total of 1:23.25…
Indoor track started up today for the high school kids. For those of you who don’t know me, I coach high school cross country and track & field. I have been doing it for 5 years now and love it! I sent the runners on a 6 to 6 1/2 mile run (for those that have been running in the off-season)… And the others we started off with running/walking 2 to 3 miles. It was good to see where everyone is at.

We have many of the returnees that are out of shape… I was a little surprised but I know they will work hard to get back into shape.
I am back in Utah and was able to meet up with Mac, Aubrey and Amber. My alarm went off and I was debating whether I should get up or not… I was so tired! Corom leaned over and said, ” You will regret it if you don’t get up.” So I got up. I am glad I did! I ran 10.5 miles in 1:21.32. I was tired at first but a couple of miles into it I felt good. Now I finished getting the kids ready for school and want to take a nap. Hopefully bed early tonight!
