What the “Hill” Were We Thinking!
We (Rachelle, Amber, Amber, Aubrey, Mac, Kelly, Tifany, Sarah, and me) started off with a 2.1 mile warm up. Then we ran a 400 (quarter of a mile) hard around the pond.
After the 400, we jogged over to a side street that has a steep hill. We surged up the hill hard and jogged slowly down for a recovery. We did the hill surge 5 times and then jogged back to the pond for another set (a hard 400, then 5x hill surges).
All I have to say is I am so glad we have each other to run these speed workouts! Thanks ladies… Now that it is over, I can say it has been fun! ๐ (We are missing Kelly and Tifany in this picture, they had to leave to get back home.)
