Christmas Tree & FHE
After Corom got off work and I sent the Cross country kids off on their 7 1/2 mile Fartlek run we went up Spanish Fork canyon into Thistle and cut our Christmas tree down. We were able to get a tag this year…
We all had a turn at using the saw…this is Z (our Foreign Exchange student) taking her turn.
Corom finished it off (the rest of us struggled with the saw… Corom made it look easy).
It was so much fun doing this together, trying to find the right one (well for Corom trying to find the “perfect” one). The girls loved it.
We then had a few people over for Family Night (the Barney’s, Erdmans, Johnson’s, and J. Anderson and L. Crockett stopped by and hung out). We wrote letters to the 2 servicemen from Salem that are away for the Holidays serving our country. I put a package together and everyone came over and expressed their love and gratitude for them (on paper). π
We don’t know who these 2 men are, so hopefully they don’t find this weird. π I do have so much love and feel so much gratitude for the people serving our country!!!
We then celebrated our friend’s little girls 1st bday… It was fun!
