Biking, Track, Family Night & Swimming…
I love biking and spin classes but not when I have to do or for 4 days in a row! ๐ Really it isn’t that bad but I sure want to be out running! This is best for me and I know it… I went to South Valley Gym for a spin class at 5:15 a.m. My good friend Stephanie was the instructor and she did an excellent job! I rode for 60 minutes (in the sitting position). It was frustrating but I don’t want to put any pressure on the ball of my foot.
Today I helped in my kindergartener’s classroom and then did some shopping for scouts for the blue and gold banquet dinner. I worked on track “stuff” for a big chunk of my day but Camille B . came over with her kids and kept me company while I typed away (and my kids and her kids played).
I went to our 1st day of track practice… (I forgot to take pictures). We had about 145-150 kids show. It was a great turn-out but hopefully they will stick around. ๐
We had family night and my 3rd daughter (5 years old) taught the lesson…
Then the 3 older girls sang a song for Corom, Z (our Foriegn exchange student) and I (who knows what my youngest daughter was doing…).
For a little family activity… We went up to G-Goats (the girl’s grandma- Corom’s mom) and caught her 4 chickens and brought them to our house…
We came home, finished Family Night with a game and then bedtime for the girls…
At 9 I met up at a friend’s house and did water aerobics/swimming in her pool. They heard my foot was bothering me and called up to see if I wanted to join them for some exercise… I had a blast and it was tough. I am not a strong swimmer and I have no balance or coordination… We were in the pool for a good hour. I do plan on going again!
Thanks ladies for letting me tag along!
I came home ready for bed and my youngest decided to wake up and cry for a good 1/2 an hour… Oh the joys…
