After a busy day, I finished my day off with our cross country banquet. We started with a nice dinner with the parents and athletes. Our captains then did their awards…

Oh… Before everyone came and while we were getting things set up my 2 older girls were playing hiding go seek…

Anyway… Back to the captains… After their awards, Coach Thompson and I did the main awards and handed out certificates to everyone. We have a really great team and there are so many deserving of an award! A great group of kids!!! I am waiting for a few pictures and I will post them.
We (Amber, Scott, Melissa, Lily and I) met in Spanish Fork and ran 7.2 miles in 56:02. We ran on the river trail and it was beautiful with all the leaves on the pathway (when the sun came up).

I loved hearing the leaves crunch as I ran on them. Lily took this picture of the river trail… Very breathtaking!

I felt bad for Scott, though… His lower leg was bothering him pretty bad so he was only able to do the 1st loop with us. When us ladies finished we found a nice treat on each of our cars…

Thanks, Scott! It was a good run… I felt a little soreness in my right butt, but each week it seems to get better. I do go to the chiropractor again while my kids are in school… Another amazing river trail shot…

We took the high school kids to Woodland Hills to do hill repeats. There is a steep hill about 300 meters up and then about a 200 meter down slope and back up an extremely steep 300 to 400 meter up. Once they reached the top, they looped back down and repeated back up…

Half the kids ran 3 loops before they took a 2 min break and the other half ran 2 loops. Then they went back up for 2 more loops.

They pushed hard going up and let loose and recovered the 1st half coming down. Some would then pick up their speed coming down and start back up driving their arms and fighting that up hill. They did a mile and a half warm up and about a mile cool down. They were beat!
I took my 3rd in for her yearly doctor checkup at Dr. Fullmer’s office in Payson. We decided to do her kindergarten shots today just so we wouldn’t have to prolong the horrible task. Dr. Fullmer was so great and so were his nurses!

She was so scared to get her shots but we had two nurses come in and calm her down. One nurse did the shots and the other held her and covered her eyes so she couldn’t see it.

The actual shots didn’t hurt her too bad. It was great that the nurse covered her eyes because when the 1st shot was given my daughter didn’t know. She stopped crying after that and just wanted her eyes covered. They did great! We left the doctor’s office and went straight to my kindergartener’s class to help with their testing.

My 2 younger ones played in a little area while I helped walk around…

We ran to the $ store to get stuff for our Cross Country banquet (that is tomorrow night).

My youngest lately has had the hardest time listening and while we were at the store, it wasn’t any different! I was taking the 3 girls and g-goat (my mother in law) out for ice cream but my mother in law ended up taking the 2 older of the 3. I hated doing it but I had to take it away from my youngest… She cried herself to sleep. 😦 That was the worst…
