A Better Day…

After the girls spent 2 1/2 hours in their rooms this morning (trying to get them cleaned), we finally were able to get out of the house for a few hours. We went to a fundraiser for a friend of ours, nephew. It was a bake, garage and lunch sell in Payson.

He has a tumor in his arm. We bought a few things and had lunch there.

We went up to my running friend Mac’s house just to pick something up but we ended up staying for a little over 2 hours. Our girls were perfect there, until we had to leave and they were asking for all the toys to take home. 🙂 This was in Mac’s yard… My girls loved it!

I decided to get my run in from her house. Corom took the girls home and I ran home from Mac’s house. It was all downhill (well at least 25 min of my 31:43.33 run). It felt nice today and it was beautiful weather!

My legs finally feel like they are loosening up and not as heavy… About time.

See you later…

Why Didn’t I Go… :)

Last night I went to bed way too late so I decided I was not going to go on the morning run with my running buddies… It is almost 8 a.m. And I do regret not going! 🙂 They met up at 6:30 and of course our girls got up at 6:30. It has been fighting and crying since then!

We were supposed to go on a bike ride and go see some baby lamas today but both of those activities have been taken away. It hopefully will change… Otherwise it is going to be a long day! (I was not able to get my 3rd child in action of crying…oh and the last picture with my youngest… A bowl of milk was spilled-shocker.)

Cross Country Practice

I had the kids warm up a mile and then do a speed work out. We actually did the speed on the track. They ran a 400 and a 300 at a mile to 2 mile race pace then a 200 at a sprint. They finished the set off with an 800 at 3 to 5 seconds faster than their 5k race pace. They had about a minute rest in between each run. They did only 2 sets (with a 4 minute break in between the set) with a mile cool down. After the cool down they did 3 to 5 strides. It was a good (confidence booster) work out. They did well.

Hale Theatre Play

I went to the Hale Theatre play with Corom tonight and saw…

It was so good! Very funny! I love going to the Hale Theatre to see their plays. I won 2 season passes, so Corom and I have seen all the plays this year. The 1st play we went to, he wasn’t thrilled about going… he was pleasantly surprised and wants to go every time. These next couple of pictures are different scenes of the play… (A little hard to see but this was the best I could do.)

Lunch with the Girls

Corom went to the school cafeteria to eat lunch with our 2 older girls during his lunch break. My oldest daughter hurry and ate and took off for recess while Corom and my 2nd oldest hung out with a bunch of other random kids.

I was home with the 2 younger girls and a few extra kids that I watch on Fridays. After lunch he brought our 2nd oldest home. Fun times!
