Our dog, Kitty, decided to jump up on the trampoline and try to climb the tree just because the girls had a fake bird he wanted… Who would have thought an English Mastiff could be smart enough to get up on a trampoline using a child’s table… I went to the General RS broadcast tonight. I met up with a few friends (Camille, Faith, Naomi, Rebecca, etc), had dinner at the church (cafe rio style salads), desserts and then we all went in to watch the broadcast. It was very nice and uplifting. After I went up to the Fullmer’s house where Corom and the girls were (with another family the Levitt’s), ate more food and played games.

So our friend, Trent Levitt, and my husband Corom have a lot in common that we just found out… They have the same birthday, their dads both past away at the age of 55; Corom’s dad passed away the day before his birthday (almost 10 years ago) and Trent’s dad’s burial was the day before his birthday… They decided to hug it out!

I met up with Mac, Aubrey, Holly, Josse and Rebecca this cold morning. I ran 7.7 in 58:48.13. The other ladies ran a couple more miles but I felt good with what I ran. We (Rebecca and I) did finish at 7.3 but did 6 strides after… I am grateful for my running buddies! It has been a long week not running with them. Corom is back from his work convention so it was nice being able to get up and meet with them. Of course I get home at 5 min to 8 and realize everyone is still sleeping! I don’t know if that has ever happened with any of my girls sleeping in that late! It would have been a good morning for me not to be able to go on a run. Oh well… It was nice getting out. After a hot shower of trying to warm back up we made a warm, yummy breakfast…

We took the high school kids to the Nebo Invitational. There were 32 teams that came to this meet. For the most part our kids ran well.

Some looked a little flat today but nothing of concern. The weather was cold! We made the kids warm up extra before their race. I wish I were the one running because I was freezing!
I dropped the 2 older girls off at school (today is picture day and oh what a nightmare on picking out clothes, hair, etc.). After the 2 younger ones took their pictures we headed off for visiting teaching (I visited a lady in my neighborhood). We came home and I had 50 min left to run and shower before my 2nd child got out of kindergarten. I ran for 37 min on the treadmill at an easy pace. It said I ran 4 miles total… It was nice! I do worry that I did not run “long” enough, but I know that this is probably really good for me. I, actually, did not think I would be able to get a run in today (well at least not this morning)so I am happy with what I was able to do. Oh and I tried out the last pair of my new shoes that I received from Runner’s Corner.
