I accidentally slept in this morning so I thought I was going to have to run by myself… I sent a text off to the ladies (they met at 5:45 am) at a little after 6 saying I obviously wasn’t going to make it. 🙂 Amber sent a text back letting me know she was unable to meet up with the others also, so her and I hooked up and ran together. We ran 7 miles at a 7:33 pace (53:02). I am glad it worked out cuz I have a hard time running on my own now. I’ve been spoiled with all my great running partners.

I have 4 girls, my oldest being 7… And everyone who knows me knows that I have very RARELY attempted to do their hair “cute”. And honestly the rare times I have attempted to do anything other than a ponytail or a bun, it didn’t turn out. (I am serious… Their hair would turn out way funny!) So I would never try and my girls became used to me not doing anything special. So when I attempted it today, their patience was not up to where I wanted it to be. My friend Emily Stokes taught me a “simple” way to do hair (her daughter’s hair always looks good). After I finished with the 3 younger girls, I noticed that it took me a little over 45 minutes to do. My oldest wanted to do her own… Thank goodness! 🙂 to be honest, it is not the best looking and there ate a lot of spots that need to be fixed but i am leaving it! So for all you people out there that don’t know how to do hair… There is hope! I guess I will see how long there hair stays in place…

My 2nd daughter has a talk today at church in primary. Leave it up to Corom and I to wait for the last minute to prepare it! I actually forgot until this morning. For most people it is easy writing talks (especially for a 6 year old) but for me… it is not so easy. I looked up many different LDS talks just to write an 8 sentence talk. 🙂 She will do well, though.
We went to the Clarion Manor in Payson for a stuffed salmon & steak dinner. It was sooo good! It was all you can eat with many different sides. We went with a few of our friends.

Rick and Rebecca always do a great job. The chefs behind the grill…

Oh… For dessert, grilled peaches with ice cream, granola and homemade carmel. It was yummy! Fun times! Check out their website: clarioneventcenter.com
