Our 3rd child had her 1st soccer game tonight. She did really well! It was a funny game to watch/coach. The kids were everywhere and falling all over the place.

After the game we had a Dutch oven party with our neighbors at our church (a ward/ neighbor party)…

A few of us got together earlier today and prepared and cooked country style boneless rib and potatoes in the Dutch ovens with lots of other food that others brought. It was great fun and great food.
We made it a 30 min adventure run… Once practice started the rain came down in a downpour. I told them to go have fun in the rain. I actually wanted to get out of the rain as soon as possible… They had a good time! (Well most if them.) 🙂
I was planning on racing in the Spanish Fork 1/2 tomorrow but had a few events get in the way that I am unable to race now. 😦 I was really looking forward to racing this one but I guess next year. So Rachelle and I went out on a 12.25 mile run this morning. We ran it in 1:29.26. We ran 7 miles (started from her house) up to the 1st main park up Payson canyon. Then we ran a 4 mile tempo down (6:37, 6:34, 6:30, 6:32). We finished with a 1.25 mile cool down. It felt pretty good considering my workout on Wednesday. I am glad we got that run done!
I had cross country practice (the kids ran an easy, conversational pace 6.9 mile run), and then the scouts (weblos) came over today to complete more goals. Then there was soccer… Here we go!

Our oldest daughter and our 2nd oldest had their first soccer games tonight. They both did really! What made it even better was Corom made it back just in time to coach our 2nd daughters team and I was able to watch our oldest’s game.
I dropped all 4 girls off at school (elementary, preschool, joy school) and had an hour and a half to do whatever… I went for a 45:30 minute easy run, about 8 min pace). My legs are sore from yesterday.

I ran half my route on road and the other half on the high line canal dirt road. It started to rain a little and then the last mile it started to come down hard. I loved it!!! I love running in rain. I still had time to spare so I went to visit an older couple (the Stringham’s) that I love! They live near where joy school was today. Amazing people.
