For the Christmas activity tonight, the paper read, “write letters to the missionaries” (young men and women serving an LDS mission in a ward/neighborhood). The girls were a little disappointed at that one… Until they got started. They really ended up enjoying it and got very creative with their letters/pictures. Now I just need to make sure I mail them off! 🙂
Corom had to work at the Clarion Gardens and I went to play games with some girlfriends (Denise and her crew).
We had some milk in the fridge that didn’t smell right. Corom and I knew it was sour but the things Corom will do with the right peer pressure…
After we dropped the 3 older girls off at school we (Corom, my youngest, and I) quickly ran to the store to get more milk and veggies. This is what happens when we let our youngest out of our sight…
We ended buying a few extra tomatoes! Corom went into our kindergartener’s classroom to read a Christmas story and hand out candy cane reindeers.
Corom is off to work and I get to start cleaning the house. Busy morning and there is lots more to do today.
Amber, Z and I went to spin class at South Valley Gym this morning. It was a 60 min class and it was good! My quads were burning at times, then my calves at other times and then I would feel my butt being worked out. I liked it! 🙂 Gina, the instructor, does a good job.
I didn’t sweat as much today (I had the fan pointed right on me the entire time). 🙂 After, we decided to try a pull-up machine. I am so weak on my upper body!!! These were hard for me to do even with having a little help. 
She’s the pro at this! 🙂
I took my 3rd child to speech therapy today. She is improving so much! The teachers are so good.
I then helped in my oldest’s classroom. I read a Christmas book and we did a craft. We made reindeer with candy canes. It was fun being in there with her.
I had scouts today… They did a service, then went to a neighbor’s house and sang a Christmas song with a plate of cookies, and then had a snowball fight in our backyard. They have too much energy. The snowball fight was perfect.
My girls, a good friend of ours daughter (her mom just had a baby so she cane over to play) and I worked on our Christmas activity for the day. We were putting goodie bags together for our neighbors. The kids were having fun… I was a little irritated because they were breaking all the candy canes… But at least they were having fun. 🙂
After I dropped the scouts off at home, took Z (our Foriegn exchange student) to help out at the Clarion Manor (now Clarion Gardens), and dropped my daughter’s friend off. I stayed at her house (the Guenter’s) for a while and didn’t get my kids home until bedtime. I had to go through Burger King to get them a hamburger. It was actually really good. 🙂
I met up with Amber, Mac and Holly this morning. It was 3 degrees today (so not as bad as yesterday :)). I did dress with even more layers today and I was WARM! It was a very pleasant run, even though we were covered in ice. We ran 8 1/2 miles in 1:08.42. I took this picture of myself as I was sitting in my car…
For some reason, I was breathing heavier today… Even though we were not pushing it. 🙂
