Monday Morning
I was able to sleep in until 7. I had a good 8 hours of sleep and I feel pretty good. I am a little sore but as I stated before once I get up and moving, it is not as bad! The Monday morning after the marathon always stresses me out. It is the morning that we have to sign up for the Runner’s Series to get into the St. George marathon. They only allow a certain number of people into the Runner’s Series, so it is usually filled up within 15 to 20 min. But Corom and I got in (along with a few other friends). Now we just need to figure out what 2 races we want to do.
After that, I went to my kindergartner’s classroom to help do the Monday testing. I love to do this for my kids for 2 reasons: 1) It is nice quality time with that child and her class and 2) I can see what she needs help in and what she is doing well in.
We came home for lunch and the 4 of us (the 3 younger girls and I) are going on a little field trip with my oldest…
The younger 3 were actually pretty good. My 3rd child got in trouble from one of the older ladies because she was hanging from an ancient tree trunk that they have displayed. But that was nothing to how it usually is. 🙂 All the kids in the class did well and were very respectful!
