A Great Run

November 6, 2013

It is 6:50 pm and I am finally sitting down for the 1st time today. I woke up at 6:00 but eventually got out the door for my “lone” run by 6:45 a.m. It was light out and not as cold as I thought it would be. I was a little nervous about running because if it hurt at all I was going to call Ryan from our Nevernudes Ragnar team and let him know the bad news…. I went out for 51:30. It felt so good to be out. My right buttock had a little annoying irritation every so often but it was runnable. I even ran up Harry’s hill today. I did feel a little heavy in the legs but that’s for the lack of running for a week. I love running with all my running friends, but I also forgot how much I also love running alone. I was able to think about many different things that I normally don’t get to take the time to think about throughout the day. Great run and I am still hoping things will be ok with my right leg…
