Cross Country Practice
After a day of babysitting and hanging out with neighbors… I went to cross country practice…
We sent them off on a mile and a half warmup. They then ran a mile tempo at 5k race pace. They took a cool down lap around the pond (about a 400).
Once they crossed the bridge they began a 1200 loop at 5k race pace. The 1st half was uphill and the 2nd down. They continued to the pond and ran their cool down lap. They did the loop 3 times.
The loop at 5k race pace started once they crossed over the bridge.
After their cool down from the last loop, we sent them back the way they came with a mile tempo and a mile and a half cool down. Tough workout but it was good for them!
