It was a beautiful morning!

I met up with 5 awesome ladies and we went for great recovery run. I ran about 6 1/2+ miles in 56:56.64. We ran about an 8:30 pace.

My kindergartener had her graduation today…

It was a nice program that their teachers put together!

Soon after the program ended, Corom and Mike headed off to the Narrows in Zion’s National Park. I was supposed to go but we had our kids to worry about. 😉 It was more of a hassle to figure out what to do that I decided not to go. 😦 Now I regret that decision…
There was a warning of flash floods in Zion’s… Yeah of course I called them and told them to be smart…
The kids and I hung out with a neighbor for a little while and then I worked at the Clarion Gardens…

We catered a wedding dinner for 95 people… I had a good time and the food was excellent. The 2 older girls went to a little “movie” party (for their piano teacher’s daughter) while I worked…
… And the 2 younger girls were here at the house with a babysitter. She said the girls were excellent… That was weird to hear. 😉 Now it is time for me to go to bed because I have to get up early…
I went on my run today and Rachelle and Amber joined me this morning. We ran 8 miles at a solid pace (the Dairy Loop). We ended up on the track and ran 4 400’s. I ran them between a 1:20-1:25 with a 200 meter recovery. We ran a couple of miles after to finish off our run. I ran a total of 12 miles in 1:29.10. Now I can’t wait for tomorrow’s recovery run! 😉
My youngest and I went to her last day of Joy School. We met with the other moms and kids at a park…

We had a track meet today for the little kids in our neighboring city. I had a few of the high school kids come help run the long jump (they put our team in charge of that event).

I love watching the girls race and do field events. It is so fun watching them!

Of course I had to record them during their race. 🙂
The 3 younger girls were put in the same heat…
My oldest in her race…
The relay… Always funny to watch…
I went to a meeting for church… And later some friends came over…
I went out for a 1:06.58 minute run this morning. I was able to meet up with Amber part way through my run and then towards the end we split off and went our own way. It was a recovery run and I felt good. My legs were a little sore but it was still a good run (I will go map out my run tomorrow).
Well I had many meetings today with all the crazy stuff I have committed to doing. 😉 I held my first PTO meeting (at the kindergarten playground so all our kids could play in a locked in area). I don’t know why I said yes to being the PTO president for the school but now I’m stuck. Really… It shouldn’t be that bad! We do have some fun things we plan on doing for the kids to help motivate them to exercise and to enjoy it. I, then, had scouts at my house…

The boys had fun… Camille and I did have to “mother” a couple of the boys. They got into a little friends fight and ended up crying but that is nothing new. 🙂 It was a little entertaining.
I had a cross country meeting with the other coach… Yes track just ended and now we are doing the transition to cross country. After dinner and putting the kids to bed… I went out with a friend of mine to visit some of the young women in our church to meet them and see if they needed anything. It was a day of meetings. I did have fun with my girls, too. They keep me entertained…
I watched my good friends little girl today… She was so much fun and of course the girls had their neighbor friends over every chance they got. My oldest went to a little birthday party…

And that was my day. The only thing I didn’t really work on was the city youth track. Corom works late tonight… So I will be in bed before he gets home. :/). Until tomorrow…
For today’s run we (Rachelle, Amber, Melissa and I) went on a 10 mile loop run. I ended up running 12 miles total in 1:22.58… We began with a 2 1/2 mile warmup and then began a tempo. I ran 5.3 miles in 32.30, then turned back to go run in with the other ladies. I was struggling towards the end and tried to finish without breaking my stride. After we all met back up we began a 1 minute on (hard pace) with a 1 minute recovery jog. I did 6 total, ran a recovery jog back to our cars. I did finish off with 3 strides. My legs were sore and I felt a little “heavy” today.
I had my last day of Joy school at my house (for my youngest). It was a numbers day so I had a little activity for them in the backyard. They had fun!

I then had to go to the junior high here in town with a few high school cross country runners to recruit the freshman for HS cross country. Junior high still scares me. 😉 A few neighbor kids played here with my girls and then it was off to piano/violin lessons for my 2 oldest.

Then I took my oldest to Activity Days (a program for the girls in our church of the ages 8-11). They went over to their leader’s house to learn about bees…

After dinner, we went to the Youth City Track practice. I had 8 high school track kids show up to volunteer/help with practice. It was awesome and the young kids loved it!!!

We had our track banquet tonight… It went really well. We had a great turnout. The parents are so supportive and they have raised great kids!!! The high school kids are like my own kids at times! One of my distance runners won the Team MVP… He deserved it!

As you can see, we had an ice cream bar, then handed out the “letter” awards, the coaches got a standing ovation ;), and that is the distance runner that was awarded the MVP. Like I mentioned… An excellent group of kids.
Yeah… I couldn’t help it.

I went to the gym for my quick 20 minutes of weights, then Corom and I hung out and watched a little T.V. It was a nice night.
Today Rachelle and I went out for a 8 1/2 mile run. We ran the Dairy Loop and finished off with a few strides. We ran it in 1:04.36. I did have to make a bathroom stop (which that was the 1st time I have ever had to stop for this). 😉 Sorry, too much info… But I am grateful for a church that was open that early in the morning. 🙂 After my stop, I felt great and and finished off the run strong (for an easy day). Corom worked at the Clarion this morning to help prep food for a couple of events before he went to his job. I got the girls ready for school.
My 2 younger daughters and I went with my kindergartener on her field trip to Thanksgiving Point… We had so much fun together.

As you can see, my youngest was a little upset that she had to sit “still” on the pony trailer ride. There was a lot to see and animals to feed/touch.

On the way home I let a friend’s dog out for a “pottie” break. Yeah… 20 minutes later, a few snaps at my arm (or so I thought) many growls and a few times of running into the bushes to get him out, I finally got the dog inside.

It’s the little ones you have to watch out for! 😉 The 3 girls and I went to the Clarion and I helped out to prep food while the girls watched a movie and played around outside in the gardens.

My neighbors did take the girls for the last hour of working (when my oldest got out of school). My neighbors are so good! The girls had fun.

After I came home and dinner a couple of kids came and played, and then their G-goat (grandma-Corom’s mom) came over to see the girls and to say happy birthday to my oldest.

Then it was off to bed for the girls (Corom is helping at the Clarion again tonight). Now it is time for me to go to bed… The morning comes to quickly!
