I heard my name… He called my name. I was the 2nd person to be called to go up and speak. My heart started to pound. I turned to my husband and asked, “Did he just call my name?” He smiled and nodded his head. After the first young lady finished her testimony, I stood up and started to walk up to the pulpit. In my head I was praying to my Heavenly Father that I would be able to say what I needed to say. I also was worried that my dress was tucked up in my leggings or something embarrassing…. 🙂 I stood up there, my mind was blank. I took a deep breath and then I began to bear my testimony of the gospel. To be honest… I don’t remember the whole thing, but what I do know is that I love my Savior! I love this gospel; I feel it, I need it, I love it and I try to live it! I have my ups and downs within myself, with my family and with my husband but I know that I (we) can get through anything with our Savior in my life. I (we) couldn’t do it without Him… Nor would I want to do it without Him! I know we all need each other to lean on one another. I have been blessed with so many great friends and family!
So this is how Sacrament meeting went… (Which was great)… After taking the Sacrament, we listened to 5 musical numbers sang by different individuals/groups. It was all so good and it worked out well today because my youngest fell asleep at the beginning of the meeting and slept all the way through. Anyway the last song was sang by the primary (the young children). 3 of my 4 went up to sing. They did so good and were so beautiful up there. They are daughters of God and I am so blessed to have them here with me!!! As I watched them sing, I knew I had to be there for them, to be an example and to help them grow and become the women they can be. After the songs, our Bishop (Booth) stood up and spoke. He is a man of God and bore his testimony that was so great. I love when he speaks because he speaks from his heart. Well then he said he wanted to hear from certain individuals and that is when I heard my name. I am grateful I had the opportunity to go up. I am not that good with sharing how I feel but I do want everyone to know that I love my Savior. The other 5 individuals that were called up did a great job also! I am LDS (a Mormon) and I am not afraid to share it!
We took the girls sledding (with the Fullmers) today up at G-goat’s house (my mother-in-law). I’m not going to lie… It is a pain getting all their winter clothes on. Once we got up there, we had a blast. My girls (especially the 2 older ones) did not want to come in.
It was funny to watch them come down… No fear!

We came home and finished cleaning house before our neighborhood party… The girls stayed entertained by a train set that my mom and dad got them to put around the Christmas tree, while I cleaned…

We, then put our girls to bed (after we had our 12 days of Christmas come :)). Shortly after our neighbors began to arrive… We had about 30 to 35 people show! Lots of food and great white elephant gifts!

We could not stop laughing! The Barney’s were so excited for their great gift, a Christmas sweatshirt, that she had a little accident in her pants…

And her daughter accidentally spilled water on her but that is besides the point…

During this, we had a knock on our door and this is what we opened up to…

We had our “prank” 12 days of Christmas come… I found out it was one of my cross country kids and he would not let me know who else was in on it! Pretty clever… Watch out tomorrow night, Corom will be watching out for you guys. 🙂 Everyone got a kick out of this young man. After eating and mingling more…

Everyone went home. Corom, Z and I put a movie on (The Odd Life of Timothy Green). I had to update this blog and had to charge my batteries at the same time. The socket was too far away from the couch…

There were about 40+ people that met up this beautiful, snowy morning. (It was very peaceful with the snow coverage and not too many people/cars out.)

We met at Kneaders in Provo and began a fun snow packed run up the trail in Provo canyon.

There were a variety of distances ran, a variety of pace, a variety of many different conversations had, and a variety of costumes worn…

We all had a good time. There were a few slips and falls but nothing to serious. I really, really enjoyed running in the snow today.

I ran a total of 11.6 in 1:36.45. We had a slower pace but were pushing it through in the snow. It was a good work out and I felt great.

Thanks everyone for the fun run (Rachelle W, Mac M, Amber D, Amber A, Jenae- hungryrunnergirl.com, Jossie T, Ericka, Carina, Melissa T, Scott C, Hawk and Cheryl, and many, many more!!!) Good Times!
The girls had Christmas activities and parties at school today.

They went on the Polar Express…

Then we passed out more neighbor’s gifts (we are half way done)…

Then we did Christmas movie night in our room with the girls because Z (our foreign exchange student) was having a party at our house.

What do you do at a high school party…
Well now that we have a teenager living with us, we get to relive our high school days… Which involves a lot of cheesy games and food. 🙂
This was my running partner today!

Corom and I stayed up way too late talking last night. When my alarm went off I was too tired to get up to run. I slept in until 7 this morning and surprisingly the girls did to. They usually are up by 6 but with it being a late night last night they didn’t get up so early. It was nice. I ran on the treadmill for 52 minutes and walked for a couple. It was long but I am grateful I have this as a backup!
