As our Christmas activity for the day we took the Frontrunner up to Salt Lake City to the LDS temple.

We got there when it was still light out so we walked around for a little while…

Z (our Foriegn exchange student) wanted to go shopping so Corom gave the girls a lecture on what to do and not to do.

I should have been the one to give the lecture with Corom sitting right in the middle. We tried to keep the girls entertained while Z shopped by playing follow the leader. I can’t remember which child was the leader (one of the older 2) but she went under a rack. Corom had our youngest on his shoulders and decided to attempt crawling under the rack to follow. It didn’t go over to well…

He did get a few laughs though. We went and ate then finally made it to the temple.

The lights turned on shortly after… It was beautiful!

Z really enjoyed it. She is of a different faith but met a missionary there that spoke her language. She was so excited!!! We finally made the mile walk back to the Frontrunner…

We made it back and tried to keep the girls entertained while on the Frontrunner. They were so tired until we got onto the train. They got a 2nd wind or something.
Mac, Amber and I went out on a 13 mile run in 1:34.20. The first half was an uphill, flat, uphill climb.

The 2nd half was obviously the downhill, flat, downhill run. That was nice. It felt good and I’m glad we ran that far. It was not that cold outside today and it felt great.

We ended at my house. Corom was waiting for us with smoothies. They were so good!!!

Now it is time for the Saturday morning cleaning. I’m so excited :/.
The girls, Z (our Foriegn exchange student) and I played board games tonight…

It was actually a lot of fun. All the girls are old enough to understand the concept of playing. The games were part of our Christmas activity for the evening…

Corom was not able to participate tonight because he was busy being a bunny for a friend of ours…

Our friends, Jason and Nicole, took their family out for dinner for their oldest daughter’s birthday. Corom “hopped” into the restaurant to surprise her. From my understanding, I guess it was pretty funny.
2 police officers showed up at my house today…

(I made the picture small because they didn’t know I took their picture :/.) I was watching 3 extra kids today and one of the boys placed the 911 call. The other kids were screaming in the background, playing around. When the officers came over one of them said that the little boy was telling the operator that someone was coming in. With the kids screaming in the background and the little boy saying someone’s coming in they got here real quick. The officers were really nice to the kids but explained to them the importance of when to call and not to call! I don’t think they will be calling again…

They did let me take this picture. 🙂
Earlier today Corom and I (and my 3 younger girls and the 2 kids I babysit), went to the elementary school to help out with the classrooms and lunch. I helped out with my oldest daughter’s class. I took over for her class because the teachers and faculty had an hour party/lunch.

Corom helped out in the cafeteria and made sure things were under control (yes, Corom knows the kid and was messing around)…

My girls and the other 2 kids that I watched today, were really good there. I was dreading it but was pleasantly surprised.

I don’t know how teachers do it! It was fun for Corom and I, though!
I met up with Holly, Mac, Tricia and Beth this morning. It was cold but I dressed warmly enough that I didn’t feel the coldness until 5 minutes after I was done running! Then I was freezing. 🙂 We ran about 8.8 miles in 1:11. I was pleasantly surprised when everyone looked at their watch because it didn’t feel like we ran that long and far. It was a good run. I do love running with these ladies. Very motivating and dedicated runners!
