Running, Track & More

March 13, 2014

I went out on a run this morning at 6 a.m. It felt great. I ran for 50:34 and I ran for about 7 miles (maybe a little less). I really felt good this morning. I did start off with Amber but then ran the last half on my own. I was able to reflect on my goals and desires and think about what I want to do with running. It was great. My legs were real achy sore throughout the day, though. Oh well… πŸ™‚
I had Joy School at my house today (Corom had the day off). Corom pretty much took over. It was our St. Patrick’s Day Party. The kids loved him!

We went to a friend’s house (Megan’s) to get Corom’s hair cut…

All his curls are gone but he looks good. The kids and I just played outside and talked with all the neighbors.
We had our 1st track meet today. We hosted it at our high school. All the kids raced well…

It was a beautiful day out. I do like the first track meet just so I can see where everyone is at.

Corom and a couple of his friends worked on his motorcycle (it broke down and they are trying to fix it because his car he drives to work broke down). :/ We are down to one car. My friend, Julie, stopped by and hung out for a while.
Corom and I were climbing into bed and I found a note from my 2nd daughter and this towel thing with a note from my oldest.

My girls are so awesome and now I feel guilty for yelling at them a lot for not going to bed. πŸ™‚
