Camps & Classes This Week…
Sunday: We walked to church (stake conference) today. It was a beautiful morning!
I was hoping to wear the girls out before church but that didn’t happen. Or maybe it did and it could have been worse. 🙂 We had a family over (that sat right next to us) for a fun lunch of quesadillas. Something easy but yummy. Then that evening we went to coach Thompson’s (the other coach I coach with) house for dinner…
My oldest got into their sidewalk chalk! But we had fun!
Monday: This is an easy week of running for me. I am way excited. I had to run 8 miles no faster than a 7:30 pace. So I ran 8.1 in 60 minutes. I ran with Tiffany and then ran straight to the HS. I sent the cross country runners on a 7-9 mile run…
Before I took off to follow the CC kids I stuck around to help and watch the speed and agility workout/plan for today.
I signed the girls up for a soccer camp this week… It is every morning for an hour and a half. They really liked it but said it was really hot!
They then went to a craft “camp”… This camp is also for an hour and a half. I was a little bummed that both camps were the same week just because it would have been nice to have something to do for 2 weeks and not all in one week. 🙂 I sign my kids up for all these opportunities because working for the city with track allows me to sign them up… Anyway… The girls really loved the crafts today!
I did take the girls to the library again for a presentation from the local firefighters. It was really neat.
The girls enjoyed being able to try on some of their gear.
For family night we had a few families over for dinner and hanging out.
Tuesday: I started off with another 8 mile run… I ran it in 1:02. The girls had their soccer camp and craft camp…
While they were there, I was with Barbara and Megan working on church stuff.
At home after the camps were done, we came home (I watched a couple of kids and a couple more came over to play) and I sat down for a while and read a book. 🙂 It was amazing! I took my oldest to the library for art time for the 3rd-6th graders. She really enjoys and is really great at art!
The girls are just a ball of energy! They are non-stop…
…but then I guess I can’t talk. 🙂 They did go to bed early tonight and I watched the Bachelorette with a couple of friends.
That picture of your family walking to church is so cute. Definitely a keeper!
