I took the girls to the school’s breakfast this morning (after their breakfast at the house :/). They enjoyed it… Me not so much, after a few cleanups. 🙂 No, it wasn’t bad… We do it for the kids, right?

I rode the bike for 56:02 today. Nothing to exciting… I put a show on and when it was over, I was done. (The girls were all in school and I had an 1:15 minutes to myself…so I rode the bike.)
A few neighbor kids came over (when the girls came home) and a friend of mine came and hung out (hi Camille ;)).
I went to track practice and brought just my oldest with me (for a little while). She actually ran almost a mile with them but at the very end got distracted with the earth worms…

She did save the worms from being stepped on…
The high school kids went for a mile warmup and then ran 4 to 6 times around a 1200 meter loop (3/4 of a mile). The first half was at a cruise interval speed, then the next quarter was a little faster, and the last quarter of the 1200 was a recovery jog… They ran a 2 1/2 mile cool down.

During the cool down I took my 2 older girls to piano and the 2 younger girls went back to track with me.
The track team went to Runner’s Corner this evening for “Spike” night. The shoes are all discounted and they offered a huge selection to the kids. We had about 70-75 kids show! (The store had pizza there for everyone. :))

A few ladies and I watched the bachelor and I ate a lot of junk food! It was good while it lasted… 🙂
Oh… It has been almost 2 weeks with not being able to run. I try not to get on Facebook or other sites where I see what people are running and workouts, etc. Right now I am sitting outside the house that I go to for swimming (I’m a little early) and I don’t know why but I am feeling a little down. It has been a good day (a busy day… Just what I like) but it is hard when I think about not being able to run. I know this probably sounds really weird to most of you but there are a few races that I have in the future that I want to race well in. At times I know things will be okay but at other times I get a little panicky and feel like I am falling far behind! I guess I keep plugging along and continue with the cross training!!!
I did start off my day with 30 minutes on the bike this morning. Then it was the normal routine of getting the girls ready and off to school. And of course while Corom and I were getting ready for the day, the girls got into the markers. My 2 older girls wanted to put “make-up” on the 2 younger ones (with markers).
I did help in my kindergartener’s class room today… I did the testing. I love going in my kids classrooms and being involved. I get to know the teachers and the kids. They are a lot of fun to work with.
The girls and I hung out at a neighbor’s house for about an hour (Stephanie’s) and then headed to track practice.

I had the kids run a 7 1/2 mile route. The 1st half is a pretty good climb and the 2nd half I had them pick up their pace (a quicker leg turnover) because it was all down hill.
I received a text at 4:30ish asking if I could feed dinner to a couple of young men (Mormon missionaries that are serving in our boundaries) at 5. I said sure send them on over (we were actually having a few people over anyways but not until a little bit later). I left practice at a quarter to 5 and began the process of getting dinner going, quickly. I did warn my neighbors (the Dych’s family) that I had missionaries coming over because they are not the same faith. They didn’t mind and understood the situation (just as long as they were not going home with a Book Of Mormon ;)). 2 other ladies came over (Mary and Siri) for dinner and Family Night. Siri did a little activity with all the kids. It was cute.

All the kids played and had fun!

Now you can see how noisy and how much chaos is at our house… Love it!
You can also see how much fun they can have and then how mean they can be but go right back to having fun… (One of my girls kicks the other…)
After the kids went to bed I headed up to the pool aerobics class. I did a lot of swimming, treading water, water aerobics and exercises, pool running, talking and laughing. I love the ladies I meet up with. Good, good people… Very positive and they love life! I swam for 1:00.20.
I accidentally hit the publish button prematurely.
We did our normal Sunday routine this morning… We got up, got ready and left for church by 8:45… The morning went really smooth. The girls were great today at church (and my 2 older ones bore their testimonies in Sacrament meeting). I enjoyed listening to them!
After church, my neighbor came over and did an adjustment on my foot…

It was a little painful and yet it felt good (strange). I hope it helps! I need it to help! I was grateful for her to come over and do this.
We had my little brother, John and my sister in law, Lindsey and our friend Mary W. over for lunch/dinner. It was so good…

Corom went on an Alaska fishing trip in September and brought back home salmon.
Later, I took a little nap and Corom said he would keep an eye on the girls. I went outside and found Corom asleep (on the lawn) and the girls playing in the back of the truck. 🙂

I also found out that they went to a few neighbor’s houses selling snowflakes out of paper napkins. I was so embarrassed. I walked the girls back to the neighbors’ and told the girls to return the $ and that they made it as a gift for them. They actually made out with treats… Next, they wanted to hold up a sign saying “massages for sale”. Yeah, that won’t happen! 😉
I went to one of our dear neighbor’s house to pay her a visit. She is the neighborhood grandma. The girls (and other kids on the street) love her! She is a little over 90 and we all keep on eye on her and bring in meals.

I was able to visit for a little while by myself and then all the girls showed up. 🙂
There was a “Fireside” (little gathering) at the church. Our friend Julie A. came with. She is amazing… Anyway, An elderly couple just got home from their mission. They served in Kenya and did a little presentation/talk on their experience. It was great…

For a little dessert we had fried ice cream… Oh it was great! I am waiting for the recipe to be sent to me! I will share the wealth once I get it!

It was a good day… I am so grateful for my husband and my girls! Even though, I want to tear my hair out a lot… I would not change this for the world! My girls are the most amazing kids ever! 🙂
I didn’t do any form of exercise (I take every Sunday off of any form of exercise). It is nice.
We (Corom, the girls & I) went to a baptism for 3 of the kids in our ward (church). At the age of 8, the children are able to be baptized to become a member of the LDS (Mormon) church. It was a neat and spiritual experience. We had to be at the church by 8 a.m.

After we came home, I slipped into my workout clothes and rode the bike for 1:01.52. The heater vent was pointed right on me. I have never sweat so much before in my life as I did today. You would have thought I walked out of a sauna after that ride!

We then went to a lunch in at our neighbors (their daughter was one of the kids that were baptized). We had a good time visiting (and eating of course).
We, then took the girls to a BYU women’s basketball game. One of our neighbors play for the team and this was her last game playing for college. She did well and our girls had a blast. There were many other neighbors (friends) that we met up with there.

They had a little dance down on the floor during half time for all the kids… I of course had to go down with them to “help” them out. 🙂

We went out for ice cream after…

Then we went to the Fullmer’s for dinner (Corom helped mike move furniture), came home, put the girls to bed and then Corom and I, the Fullmer’s and our friends the Burk’s went to a movie (Gravity). I liked it… I have heard good and bad reviews about it prior to watching it… Z our Foriegn exchange student and a few of her friends were at the house watching their own movie and watching the girls (they slept through it all)…
