Tuesday: No shocker that I started my day off with a run… I ran 10 miles with Mac, Aubrey and Amber in 1:20. I went straight to the HS so I could send the CC kids off on their run…
After following them, I came home to my family (parents, brother and sis-in-law) getting to work on my house decorating. 🙂 We worked for a while in the morning, early afternoon while the kids/cousins swam and played.
My mom and I made Greek food… I love Greek food and I love making it with my mom!
My parents left shortly to go look for homes around here (which I so hope they move here) while I took the girls to the library activity.
We had Mary and Siri over for dinner and then watched a movie with the girls… I love having my parents here!!! Corom and his friends went rock climbing this morning before they all went to work. 🙂
Wednesday: I went out for a 10 mile run this morning and met up with Beth. We ran it in 1:15… Still not feeling the greatest but I’m out running… I went to CC practice and then helped with the speed and agility session with Travis…
My mom, my kids and I went shopping together and then to the $1 store. My kids were in heaven there. 🙂
My mom is the most patient person I know with kids. I don’t know how she does it all the time but I admire her for it. She had the girls help her cook, crochet, sew, etc… Aunt Lyndsey helped my oldest start a scarf with crocheting… Yep, not something I know how to do!
My parents went out again with the house shopping (with my little brother) and I took the girls to the movie and popcorn at the library.
Thursday: I met up with Amber Green (my friend who just qualified for the Olympic Trials) and went out for a 12 mile run in 1:31. It was so good running with her and hearing her race recap! It was a great run! At home it was decorating, painting, cleaning, etc while my parents were once again house hunting. When they came back my mom helped the girls with a lemonade stand…

I am so grateful for people that stop!!! The girls had fun doing it. Then my mom took each girl out for a one on one time. I prepared the food for tonight because my brother & his family, sister & her family and my sister’s in laws were coming over for dinner… We had a good time. The Bishopric (Corom included) stopped by our house to hand out root beer floats. 🙂

Here I have my mom and oldest piecing a blanket together after everyone went home and the other girls went to bed. 🙂

Friday: My parents had to get on the road early this morning to head to Washington to visit my sister. They will be looking for houses up there, too. It was so great to have them here! It was sad to see them go.

I went to CC practice and ran my 6 miles with the HS kids (42:23). It was a good run but my legs were tired. The rest of our day consisted of more painting, sanding and cleaning. The girls were a big help today!
The kids had their friends over this afternoon for swimming and playing…
They went to bed Early tonight (by 7). It was awesome! The Fullmers came over and we watched the new poltergeist… Lame! We laughed at least half the movie.
Thursday: My run was a 6 mile run this morning. I’m so glad it was only 6 miles because I am feeling lousy. I’ve been feeling blah, heavy and slow. I do have a 1/2 marathon on Saturday, so I better be feeling better. The girls did play pretty much all day once their chores were done.
I did have a RS activity to go to this evening while Corom attended a night at girls camp. It was bishopric night at camp. (On his way home he had a flat tire on his motorcycle, so instead of getting home at midnight, he got home around 2-2:30.)
My parents arrived late tonight. 🙂 It’s so good to see them and have them here.
Friday: I ran an easy 5 1/2 miles this morning and yet, it didn’t feel so easy. I really struggled again today. I don’t know what my deal is. I did run straight to the HS and sent the CC kids of on a run. While they were running I helped with the speed and agility session.

We took my parents around “house” hunting this morning (they are thinking about moving out of California… I hope they do)! After looking at places, we did crafts, swam and just hung out.

We went to my 2 middle daughters last softball game. This young of age it is fun to watch but I am also glad that was their last game.

Saturday: I got up at 3:15 a.m. to catch the bus by 4:15. It is the American Fork race against cancer 1/2 marathon. It is a pretty downhill race for the 1st 7 miles (a fast course) but I totally bombed it! I ran my slowest time in 5-6 years. By mile 3 I knew I was in trouble. I just couldn’t go even with it being downhill. I had no energy. I finished with a 1:23.58 (a 6:25 pace). I was a little discouraged this race but hopefully I will figure out what’s wrong… Soon! My mom, sister, sister-in-law and I went shopping to decorate my house. I am so not good at decorating or shopping for that matter. So they took over and started piecing things together.

We hurried back and went to a family reunion on my dad’s side. It was so nice to see many cousins and relatives that we have not seen in a very long time. It is sad because we decided it’s been way too long since we have done this when we got together for my Aunt’s funeral.

We had a great time… Games, zip line, food, visiting, etc. It really was nice.
It was fun to see my dad and his siblings together. It’s been a while for him. 🙂

Sunday: It was nice to have my parents here… They were a big help with getting the girls ready for church and with keeping them quiet in church. 🙂 We went up to Missy’s house (my sister) for dinner and s’mores. Then everyone came back to my house for a slumber party. Trying to put all the cousins down for bed was a little hard. 🙂

Monday: Once again I got up early and ran with the HS CC team. I had an 8 miler today and ran it in 59 min. It was ok today. The rest of the morning my sister, sis in law, mom, dad and I painted and sanded and decorated the stuff for my house.

The cousins and neighbors played…

I love having my family here! I needed this. It’s been so fun… This week is going by way too fast!
Sunday: Today is Father’s Day! Yeah for me. 😉 Corom had early church meetings so I set my alarm to get up and make him breakfast. The younger girls added the cocoa pebbles to the omelette that my oldest and I prepared. It was a nice little touch!

He left and the girls and I cleaned and began to get dinner ready for “dad”. The girls struggled a little in Sacrament meeting today but that’s normal… They just like to talk too much, play and fight. We had the Fullmers and our neighbor Gene over for dinner. Later, we watched a movie with the girls and just hung out.
Monday: I went out with the cross country HS kids on my 10 mile run. (Pictures were erased so I have nothing to show.) We (the girls and I) hung out at the house all morning and early afternoon until it was time for the library activity.
I had a few neighbor kids over for the late afternoon until late… They are moving and tonight is the night that the men are over moving everything out. I brought out the boxing gloves and the kids went to town.
The girls had a hay day with Corom and his hair… He let the girls grab the scissors and cut away.
The kids played hard tonight and used anything they could find…

Tuesday: This morning was a speed day. I went into it thinking it would be an easier workout. 6 x 1000’s at a 6 min pace. But I really struggled… Even from the 1st one. I don’t know what my problem was but it was tough! Oh well… I hit the marks but barely. Maybe I’m just getting old. I met the CC kids and sent them off on their run. And then the girls and I headed over to our friend’s house to help clean… They are moving so we went there to wipe walls, baseboards, etc.

I watched a few extra kids this afternoon for a couple of different neighbors. The kids had fun going to the library activity, boxing, roasting marshmallows, etc while Corom was putting up a pool… It is so hot here!

Wednesday: I had a recovery run this morning… So I met up with Amber and Mac and got in 8 miles in 1:04. I hate recovery runs where they still feel like a workout. That’s how this morning was. I coached the speed and agility class for the younger kids today (plyo-metrics day).
I had to take all 4 girls to their annual doctor appointment checkups… My youngest getting her kindergarten shots.

The hospital was holding a Teddy Bear activity today. The kids bring in a teddy bear (or stuffed animal) and they take a tour of the hospital. They had different activities outside while you waited your turn for the tour. It was really neat for the kids to do this. It gave them a better understanding on what they “do” in the hospitals… Their stuffed animals were the patients…
Then the girls and neighbor kids that we invited over… Came to swim.

They swam for a good few hours! I have a feeling they will be in the pool a lot this hot summer!!! The girls had their 2nd to last softball game…

I went on RS visits while the girls watched a movie (it’s Corom’s late night). The girls were tired… They went straight to bed when I got home (7:45) without any complaining! Loved it!
Wednesday: As I was putting my youngest to bed she decided to start putting socks on. I told her to take the socks off because they would make her feet stinky and sweaty. Her question back to me was, “Just like the track kids?” I smiled and said yes, just like the track kids.
Anyway… I started off my day with a 10.2 mile easy run. I was able to get it in 1:17. I headed straight to the HS to help Travis (for the 1st 25 minutes) of the speed and agility class.
The girls went to their soccer camp…
And then to their craft camp…
I picked them up right at lunch time, we did chores and then I took the girls to the library for their movie and popcorn day.
After dinner, all 3 older girls played in a softball game. The other team needed an extra player, so my oldest played on their team. Oh and Corom was the coach tonight… Like we know so much about softball. 🙂
I went to a surprise baby shower tonight (for Megan) and then went on RS visits…
Thursday: I met up with Rachelle, Mac & Amber and went for a 10 mile run in 1:19. It was a good run. Once again the girls went to their soccer camp…

And then to their craft camp…

Many of the neighbor kids came over to play this afternoon.
I did go to the Clarion Gardens to work tonight. It is always fun helping with the events and doing the catering.

Friday: I went out for an 8.1 mile run and finished off with strides in 1:03. This week has been a nice week of running… No speed at all… Just nice easy runs. The speed and agility class went well. We did speed/track work.

The girls had their last day of soccer camp. They really enjoyed it (who am I kidding… I really enjoyed it :)). “Buzz” their coach was amazing!
The girls had their last day of craft camp. They really enjoyed this camp!!!
Corom had the day off… We went to lunch while the girls were at their craft camp. It was nice to sit and talk and much needed. When the girls were done, we took the girls to the splash pad at the neighboring town park. We met some friends there.
I took all the kids out for ice cream after and let them play at our house for a little while. They were really good at the store!!!
Corom and I went to the movies with the Barneys and then I went to bed right away. Corom and Travis went up to Mike’s house to watch a movie up there. 🙂 I have to get up early for a 16 mile speed workout.
Saturday: I met up with Amber & Mac for my warmup… 4 mile warmup and then 8 miles worth of speed. Idid run a 7:30 easy mile after my 5th mile of speed… Then finished the last 3 miles of speed before I ran a 3 mile cool down. It was tough but I hit my mark… The last 2 miles of my run, I really struggled. It was hot and I was craving water so bad!!! But I got the run in. 🙂 I hung out at the house with Corom and the girls for a couple of hours before I went to work at the clarion gardens. I worked for a few hours, then back to the house. We helped our neighbor now his lawn, while the girls ran around catching frogs…
They also found a baby bird with no nest and I couldn’t fly… We had a abandoned nest that the baby took to. We will feed it and leave it outside until it can go on its own.
Our friend stopped by with a baby fox and the girls were so excited… Cute little guy!
My good friend, running friend, Amber Green ran Grandmas Marathon today! She met her goal today and freakin’ qualified for the Olympic Trials!!! 2:41.19!!! So amazing… She is amazing! Now it’s my turn to get this picture! 😉

Sunday: We walked to church (stake conference) today. It was a beautiful morning!
I was hoping to wear the girls out before church but that didn’t happen. Or maybe it did and it could have been worse. 🙂 We had a family over (that sat right next to us) for a fun lunch of quesadillas. Something easy but yummy. Then that evening we went to coach Thompson’s (the other coach I coach with) house for dinner…
My oldest got into their sidewalk chalk! But we had fun!
Monday: This is an easy week of running for me. I am way excited. I had to run 8 miles no faster than a 7:30 pace. So I ran 8.1 in 60 minutes. I ran with Tiffany and then ran straight to the HS. I sent the cross country runners on a 7-9 mile run…
Before I took off to follow the CC kids I stuck around to help and watch the speed and agility workout/plan for today.
I signed the girls up for a soccer camp this week… It is every morning for an hour and a half. They really liked it but said it was really hot!
They then went to a craft “camp”… This camp is also for an hour and a half. I was a little bummed that both camps were the same week just because it would have been nice to have something to do for 2 weeks and not all in one week. 🙂 I sign my kids up for all these opportunities because working for the city with track allows me to sign them up… Anyway… The girls really loved the crafts today!

I did take the girls to the library again for a presentation from the local firefighters. It was really neat.
The girls enjoyed being able to try on some of their gear.
For family night we had a few families over for dinner and hanging out.
Tuesday: I started off with another 8 mile run… I ran it in 1:02. The girls had their soccer camp and craft camp…
While they were there, I was with Barbara and Megan working on church stuff.
At home after the camps were done, we came home (I watched a couple of kids and a couple more came over to play) and I sat down for a while and read a book. 🙂 It was amazing! I took my oldest to the library for art time for the 3rd-6th graders. She really enjoys and is really great at art!
The girls are just a ball of energy! They are non-stop…
…but then I guess I can’t talk. 🙂 They did go to bed early tonight and I watched the Bachelorette with a couple of friends.
